Anyone in the world can find the best stock to buy by buying every stock there is, but the idea is to only own a few of the best stocks while still having the very best stock in your portfolio. So what constitutes the "best stock". The best return in a given time frame.
If you are investing for 1 year at a time and plan on holding a stock for 1 year, the stock that has gone up the most in percentage points will have been the best stock. Of course, a stock that goes up 20% in 1 month is better than a stock tat goes up 40% in a year, so overall th ebest stock is the one that goes up the most per time interval that you owned it. 20% per month is what you would get in that previous example, and if you gained 20% every month it would be 240% a year. Actually it would be even better if you reinvet your gains, as the interest would compound.
